What Our Customers Say

OUR SURVEYS

“Jason and Paula completed a 3 week wildlife survey on our estate, taking lots of videos and pictures along the way. They first had a look over the estate to decide where the best places to put the trail cameras and where to set up a temporary hide. They did a fantastic job. We knew we had lots of wildlife, but seeing all the photos and videos was breathtaking. They produced a written report and Jason has produce the first of three videos we can use on our website and we have literally hundreds of wonderful pictures for Instagram. They kept us updated with how the work was going, including meetings in person and showing us photos and videos they’d taken. We are planning to build a hide and Jason and Paula have given us lots of advice of how to proceed with this. They have been a pleasure to work with and so we can thoroughly recommend them.”

OUR HIDES

“We had the privilege of being the very first clients at The Fallen Oak wildlife hide in Melmerby, and it was an outstanding experience. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

For wildlife photographers, the setup is thoughtfully designed for optimum bird viewing and photography. A standout feature is the truly amazing reflection pool, which adds an extra dimension of artistry to your shots. It's definitely worth the trip.”

“Sheila, my good friend and I, arrived in the early morning on a very frosty day. We were the first clients to visit the Fallen Oak Wildlife Hide and were warmly greeted by Jason who kindly presented us with a box of celebrations to celebrate the official opening.

The hide is set in such a beautiful and serene setting and was fully equipped with everything you would need for the day, including a great choice of various teas and coffees, water, milk and a gas camping stove, which we did make use of!

Bean bags and a gimbal were supplied in the hut with two comfortable chairs. We were happy to spend the day there.

Birds appeared happily throughout the day of many varieties, never a dull moment. We didn't get to see the Sparrowhawk but we saw the buzzards from a distance. The GS woodpeckers were frequent visitors, 3 different ones, male, female and this year's offspring. Plenty of woodland birds, tree creepers, Wren, Robin, great tits, bluetits etc. These little woodland birds made good of the reflection pools too.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our day there and certainly will be returning in the future.”
